I am trying to turn on player statistics after a league has already been created. Looking for ideas into what I am doing wrong.

The problem here is that you're not using the version where I fixed this bug just now. (There was some extra error checking added to ensure that you select a day of play, a very common oversight; that doesn't apply here when there are more than one division in a league, but it was still trying to do the check.)
