Can you give, or point me to, a brief description of differences between each of the 5 account types?
My question comes from what account type would be best for a division coordinator.

Re: Users
In order from least permissions to most:
Non-player account: Pretty rarely used, can't remember offhand what they're not allowed to do that players can.
Player: A regular player.
Volunteer: Has some access to field information, and can be made a division coordinator.
Manager: Can be made manager of an affiliate (doesn't apply in most situations). Managers can do pretty much anything an admin can do except change system settings.
Admin: Can do anything (though these powers are removed when they are dealing with teams that they are on the roster of, to avoid accidental violations like adding people after the roster deadline).
So, for a division coordinator, volunteer is the way to go.
