Coach of Youth Team

I am setting up teams for a Youth league. Initially we would like teams to only have a coach. This is a problem because right now every team must have at least one player. Is there any way to make it check for at least a Captain or a Coach? Also, I would hope that Coaches have the same capabilities as Captains.
