Re: Field/Facility Names
1A and 1B are both shortened to 1? That doesn't sound right. The "num" column in the "fields" table is actually a string with a length up to 15, so it should be able to accomodate 1A and 1B just fine. That would still only show the fields as MAS 1A, MAS 1B and MAS 2, though. Ther...

Re: Terminology: Affiliates, Franchises, Leagues, Divisions
Even with affiliates disabled, everything in the database technically still needs an affiliate_id, it's just always set to 1.

Re: Terminology: Affiliates, Franchises, Leagues, Divisions
I don't know that Affiliates are even useful in your situation. It's really a specialized thing that very few Zuluru users use. I have attached a graphic I did a while back that shows how things are related to each other. It's not totally up-to-date and doesn't include affiliates, but it gives the g...

Re: Terminology: Affiliates, Franchises, Leagues, Divisions
I've moved this post to a new topic, as it's a question that comes up from time to time, and should be easier to find this way. I need to put together a graphic indicating how the various terms are used in Zuluru... "Affiliates" are for related organizations that operate under a single umb...

Re: Formatting
Using shirt colours to display team logos is not at all the intention, so I'm disinclined to change that behaviour. Allowing uploaded team logos is in the plans, and I was going to allow it for franchises too, to provide a "fallback" if the specific team doesn't have one. Could be done for...

Re: Lights on Field
In my experience, lit fields are generally expensive and booked for games. Also, fields that organizations list are the ones they're paying for, which means that if that organization doesn't have the permit for it on a particular night, somebody else does, and it's not available for practicing on an...

Re: Lights on Field
This could be done. I don't think it's been an issue so far because a) the list of fields that a particular organization uses is generally pretty small, so admins will generally just remember those specifics, b) you typically set up game slots at the beginning of the season based on permit informati...

Re: Max Score. What is it?
On the "view game" page, there is a link to a "ratings table", which shows how many rating points will be transferred based on various scores. (This is really only useful in ladder leagues, not round robin.) The max score sets how big the table will be.

Re: Manually Create Games
Yes, date, time, etc. come from the game_slots table. There's also division_gameslot_availabilities, though if you don't ever plan on editing the schedule through the UI, that might not need to be populated.

Re: Themes to share?
Ultimate is where Zuluru started, so most of the examples are in that sport. http://gtasports.com/ is a dodgeball league. http://fbaregistration.com/ is a multi-sport youth league, but it's bare-bones as far as look goes. I've heard from some others doing pilots of soccer, but don't know of anything...
